you know when you’ve had a good week?…when you can list 10 things that lifted you from moderately dismal to happier than a pig in shit…happens every now and then…and i feel it me duty to report on such findings…it reaffirms my believe in the soul you see…it entertains you…entrances and enriches you…fills yer whim bag up to the brim and sends on you on your merry-adventuring-ass way…and right now thats what yer good Friends Class of 1984 be doing…giving praise for the thingies of interest that have been bestowed upon us this past week…some have been around for quite a while and we are rediscovering them yet again…thats the beauty of it all…even if youve drank from these same cups before there will always come a time to drink and be merry again…so without further ado

Going Back To The USA

in the morning we shall be returning to the US…back to finish that abomination child we gave birth to in New Jerseys finest recording station: Big Blue Meanie Studio…nothing packed of course…last minute rush job…lobbing underwear at empty suitcases at 3 AM in the morning…coffee streaming down your nostrils…galloping towards departures…then stowed away like vacuumed packed turkeys in a speeding shell of death…tis all good

…we are at the process of mixing the songs…a process where far better men than us bring the noise we created last time we were there together in holy matrimony…following that we shall be mastering the songs…then packaging them…then sending them your way should you feel of the mood to hear them…so looking forward are we…..we shall furiously tweet, twat, twit and blog while we are over there with pics aplenty of this filthy excursion…so be nice fair children of the pig…we shall speak soon..from yonder waters in just a weeeeetle bit of time

good people….good friday…..and what a day…to get inebriated…discombobulated….blood shot, eyes dilated…distil me another pint of ale my kind publican and…eh? whats this? no alcohol…dang and blast!! basterd be ye….we shall manage…

….here so…..TOP 10 ALBUMS…..of this week…because it is very hard to have a “Top 10 Albums of all time” is it not?…you can be cruel and concise but when the dust settles you will end up having 20 honourable mentions to go along with your final 10…and that just wont do…more ills from indecision than bad decision….so we shall just cheat and not decide at all…ever…no intention…in its stead…we find ourselves with a different idea as to what they should be every passing week…for example…Radioheads seminal late 90s masterpiece OK Computer will be tasty to make top 10 any other day of the week…but today im just feeling the clack and clunk of their kinky follow up: Kid A…and Morrissey and Marr might have you believe that The Smiths last album Strangeways Here We Come is their finest to date (yes they will reform, yes they will reform) but im going with The Queen Is Dead (but doesnt everyone?)

….and so…. getting nary a knickers in a twist shouting “COME ON!! SGT. PEPPERS!!” or “WTF!!?? THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON??”…this is just our opinion…and it changes all the time…just like yours..so in the interest of our very own indulgences heres what we think…..today
